In 1885, Séverin Gilbert founded the brand Cognac Gilbert, in the french departement of the Charente Maritime. As early as 1905 his Cognac has been rewarded during the International Exhibition of Liège, Belgiumfor the excellency of his eaux-de-vie, and his innovative style.
With its « Arts Nouveaux » style, our Cognac pays tribute to the pictorial esthetics that was trendy by the time of the creation of our brand. This artistic movement revolutioned the world of art, by highlightning curved lines, and echoes our XO Cognac with its natural roundness, and elegance.
